I only made 4 of the caramel apple cupcakes, but I made enough caramel buttercream for 12. So I decided to bake up some vanilla cupcakes to use what frosting I had left over. And of course, the end result was fantastic. I had just enough caramel sauce to drizzle over the top of them, too. 🙂
This is the kind of cupcake that would go fantastically with a cup of coffee…or hot chocolate.
